Lessons for Year CCommunity of Christ Lessons for Year C are now available at HeraldHouse.org. Beginning with the first Sunday of Advent 1 December 2024 through 23 November 2025 you are encouraged to explore the New Testament Letters in weekly lessons provided by the teachings in the Revised Common Lectionary and Community of Christ ministry leaders. Community of Christ Lessons New Testament Letters Year C offers ages 6 to Adult ways to engage with Community of Christ identity, mission, message, and beliefs.
Climate Impact FundThe Presiding Bishopric has established a Climate Impact Fund to respond to the ongoing human impact related to changes in our climate. Contributions to this fund will assist individuals, families, and communities as they respond to the disruptive impacts of climate change across the globe. Contributions to this fund can be made on eTithing or by writing the name of the fund on the offering envelope.
Online Doctrine and CovenantsAn online searchable version of the Doctrine and Covenants is now available in English, French, and Spanish on CofChrist.org. Although G-5 Universal Scripture Access was not approved at 2023 World Conference, the First Presidency supported the desire to provide greater access to our sacred scriptures. As a result, the Communications Team has been working since conference to bring this gift to life.
Witness the Word VideosA new release of “Witness the Word” videos, is available now. Three members of the Council of Twelve Apostles share sermons: “Creating Community” from Shandra Newcom; “Christ is Our Hope,” an Advent message from Catherine Mambwe; and “Come, Share the Table/Vengan, compartan la mesa,” a Communion message in Spanish from Angela Ramirez with English translation by Geri Silva. The new release also offers three Disciples’ Generous Response moments. Kees Compier shares a message regarding “The Gifts of Generosity,” Diane Maupin offers thoughts on “Growing Generous Disciples,” and Ken McClain provides a story of “Extravagant Generosity.”

Climate Emergency LetterIn response to World Conference Resolution 1325, the USA Apostles have issued the following letter on the climate emergency. The letter includes a list of resources to learn more and action steps for congregations and individuals.
The World Church has published Guidelines for Community of Christ Sacraments. These can be found on OurMinistryTools under the Priesthood tab and then click on Sacraments. They should also be available from your pastor or contact the mission center office.
